Tarot of the Gnomes - Esir
by Antonio Lupatelli
Publisher: Lo Scarabeo
ISBN 0-7387-0057-6

Il Mondo, Die Welt, Le Monde, and El Mundo are the translated titles. The Gnomish word at the top is Esir. A little gnome sits on top of a globe, looks like it might be made of wood, with a shape carved on it. It looks like it might be a map, but it's not the land patterns that I recognize. An owl peers around the right-hand side of the globe, and a raven the left. The gnome is dressed in blue, with gold stars on his hat. He caresses the globe with his left hand and smiles as though listening to a treasured friend.

LWB: The entire World of Esir, all of the Gnomes, all that it contains, completeness.

This little Gnome knows when to hold still, and when is the time for movement. He listens, and will act appropriately, one nudge in exactly the right spot. He has learned from his adventures.

I hear the song from The Birds in my head... "a time to laugh, a time to weep, a time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing..." ok, maybe I got the lyrics in the wrong order but that's what I hear, that song.
