Robin Wood Tarot - Two of Wands
Robin Wood
Deck: Llewellyn
Book: Livingtree Press
This card shows an adult man, of seeming royalty or wealth. The tabard he
wears is adorned with 5-petaled red flowers, as well as a column along the
edge of white lilies. From the red & blue hat atop his head hangs a gem.
In his right hand he holds a globe of the planet Earth. In his left hand he
holds a long staff with a quartz crystal at its length.
He stands at the end of a castle's walls, looking out into the world. The
land below him shows a sandy shoreline and small hill of rock that the waves
splash upon.
Comments from the Book:
The keyword for this card is "Watch & Wait".
"This card means the wait before plans bear fruit. Also kindness,
generosity, intellect. A well-balanced, creative person. Ingenuity,
fulfillment, good things coming."
Personal Comments:
I find this card to be very "inactive". The man in the card may be
thinking, pausing, and reflecting, but there isn't anything actively
happening at least with this fellow. It feels like things are "in the
works". Something has been set in motion, and now it is time to wait for
them to come into effect.
