MerryDay Tarot - Two of Wands
by Louisa Poole
published by Mill House McCabe
MerryDayTarot.com

Description:
A man stands proudly looking out, it seems, to the future. There is no sun showing in the sky, yet I can tell by the shadows that it is low and to the man's right. Either Dawn or Dusk. There are three pairs of animals that seem very alerted to something, as if they are anticipating that something is about to happen. A grass hut is in the backround. There is a fence that appears to be in the process of being built. The man is standing where the fence ends. The line of the fence continues on the ground with shrubs growing in a line. The man stands with his right foot firmly planted and his left foot poised in the air as if he is ready to step over the line.

I have just ordered Louisa Poole's book that accompanies this deck, so can not give her description yet. The keyword at the bottom of the card is Gratification, along with the numbers 42/6.

My impressions:
The way the animals are all poised with their ears up and the way the man is just about to take that step over the shrubs brings the message of being ready to take some action. It is time to cross the line and do something. I don't know why the lack of the sun pictured in the card struck me so strongly. The shadows of the animals and man are very long, so I know the sun was low in the sky. Like the Dawn. The beginning of a new day.
