Fantastical Tarot - Two of Wands
Natalie Hertz
US Games, Inc.
ISBN 1-57281-202-8

Two large wands stand firmly upright on the grounds of the open plains. The wands are adorned with swirls of decoration. A glowing moon stands in a lightly clouded evening sky. Two cheetahs, each with their backs to us, wrap themselves around the wands so their faces are staring back at us. The cat on the right is a lightly brown/beige colour, while the cheetah on the left, is a rich black colour. Their tails wrap with each other.

Comments/Keywords from the LWB:
"remorse, regret, pain, contradiction, hope, surprise, change, miracles"

Personal Comments:
While this deck does contain dark images, I find it interesting that the creator has such negative keywords ("remorse, regret...") for the upright meanings, and more positive ("hope, surprise...") for the reversed meanings. This is not consistent with what she has written with the rest of the deck.

This card gives me gives me a feeling of warning ahead. I feel like the cheetah are the guardians of the wands, and that you may not pass easily through the wands (the wands are parallel, and appear like a doorway). The cards feels like an echo of the moon card. The wands are like the two towers of the Moon card, and the two cats, almost yin/yang like in their colourings, remind me of the dog & wolf on the Moon.
