Motherpeace Tarot - Three of Wands
Karen Vogel and Vicki Noble
US Games Systems, 1988
ISBN 0880790636

The card shows a mother instructing her children in painting the cave walls with red ocher and other colors. The three wands are torches. On the wall, we see a woman holding a crescent, a grid, an antelope, a cheetah, an elephant, and the childrens' handprints.

LWB: Communication, teaching, learning, artistic endeavors, shared projects.

I see joy in this. She enjoys teaching her children, and they enjoy learning. She guides them, but doesn't say they are "doing it wrong". Time enough for that later.

What stories do they see in the wall paintings? This is obviously a site they have used before, the images overlap one another. At this point in our journey, doing something is better than doing nothing. As my dad used to tell me when teaching me to play ping-pong: “Just hit it, you can learn to hit it straight later.”
