Arcus Arcanum Tarot - Three of Wands
created by Gunter Hager; illus. by Hansrudi Wascher

Three of Wands shows two men and a woman placing three staves together to form a tripod. They are dressed in peasant clothes and appear happy and joyful. There is a bush with orange flowers in front of them and trees growing behind them. The sky is a beautiful tequila sunrise color. They are working together to stabilize the staves to be the foundation for what is to come.
LWB: "Co-operation as partners and colleagues will be a solid basis for further growth and development. Working together permits the formation of a promising enterprise. A secure basis for successful activities is created."
Bee's Buzz: The card represents collaborative efforts and energies that create the foundation for a new project. The three people seem to be working together to form a solid basis for building something - perhaps a home. The discovery of the location in the two of wands leads to the beginning of constructing a home in the three. This card shows the combination of energies and ideas needed to get a project from the idea phase to the construction phase. I associate this card with the first concrete steps I take when I'm working on a new project. It's no longer an idea - it's becoming a fact. Once again we see the creative inspiration combining with the physical manifestation. There is a sense of joy and excitement present as well as the willingness to join forces and put in the physical labor necessary to achieve one's goals.
