In this card, a pale woman with flowing blond hair floats in the starry cosmos above the earth.  Behind her is a crescent moon, with the dark rounded side also visible.  All around her twinkle stars, and there are two larger stars, one near her feet and the other just below her body, which send their rays out on all sides.  She floats in the sky with flowing purple robes, her left arm and hand outstretched as if to say "see what bounty is yours to receive from the Universe".   In her right hand she holds tucked against her body an earthen pitcher, out of which flows a light blue (watery or airy) stream, which flows down to the earth below and intermingles with the blue, brown, green, orange, and purple streams forming the oceans and the continents.  Her aspect is one of serenity and giving/receiving.

In many Star cards, the woman in the card is on the earth and is receiving energy from the Universe.  In this card the sense is that this woman is an aspect of the Goddess, dispensing hope, inspiration, psychic healing and energy down to the earth.  It is more of a cosmic card than an individual card, encompassing all of the world below and its energy streams.  Yet, if you receive this card in a reading, there is still a personal message of healing and hope – opening the direct connection, reminding yourself that this stream of cosmic love and light is always available, always pouring, and that you can tap into the stream when its energy is needed to recover from the Tower, or any other time.  Also, it encourages and energizes your personal potential to give gifts to the world, to allow your own beneficence to flow and add to the stream.  The Star may represent a time of healing, a time of creativity, and a time when we are particularly in tune with the Universe.
