Wise Woman Tarot - Seven of Wands
by Flash Silvermoon & Barbara Vogel
This card shows a red headed woman in a martial arts type jump/kick flying through the air. She is fit and muscular and holds a wand. Dressed in white with a green belt flying out behind her. She is over 6 other wands, 5 of which are held by male looking hands. Initial impression: this is a warrior, doing battle. This is not a card of preparing as the RWS indicates. She's in the fight and I'd say kicking butt. This woman is angry and shouting her war cry. Her flaming red hair is the fire of anger and battle, very active. What ever is going on, you’re jumping right in to face your adversary. Scathach is the Scottish warrior/goddess on the card. The scathach are said to be taken by frenzy in battle. Once battle has begun they will not stop until either they or their opponent is dead or down. Scathach was a winner in most battles. She was also a teacher of battle. If you are in battle with someone/thing, you have the ability to see it to the finish. The energy needed will be there when you need it. Stand strong and acknowledge bravery and remember to confront issues with valor.
Questions posed by the card: Where do you need this battle energy? Where are you going overboard with your need to win? Who are you trying to teach a lesson to?
