Tarot - High Priestess
Number One--by Evelyn Henry
This image of the HP is a collage in blue and gray. Against a gray
background stand two gray fluted pillars with thick, heavy,
oversized square capitals. Only a thin outline of a cloudy blue
sky can be seen between the gray background and the gray columns.
Between the columns, in black and white, is the HP. She stands,
her arms at her sides, hands tensed as in her left she holds a
sheet of paper. She wears a long gown, knotted at the waist, and a
hood on her head. She looks up and to the right, into space,
seeing something we can only guess at.
Number Two--by Diane Wilkes
This rendition of the HP is a computer generated collage. The High
Priestess stands upon a crescent moon that floats against a blue
background. Again, the High Priestess wears a long, draped and
folded gown that is hooded. She appears to be a bronze statue, as
her face and the gown have the same bronze glow. Her eyes are
closed, and she holds a crystal ball. On either side of her, also
floating in the blue background, is a column made out of books. A
black cat sits atop the column to her left.
