Shapeshifter Tarot - Lovers

My Description:
A man and woman embrace in a swirling cloud of feathers. Behind them, the tree of life has red apples attached to its branches leading one to thoughts of the temptations of life. To the left of the couple is hovering a Russian firebird (according to the book) which represents the need to listen to those intuitive messages. A phoenix hovers on the right symbolizing the ability to rise from the ashes of defeat to a higher level of being.

Description from the book:
The central figures of a man and a woman are entwined in the sacred act of physical loving. The woman represents the flow of the negative energy and the man the flow of positive energy which is a necessary part of all creation. The Tree of Life symbolizes the many levels of creation open to humans who seek more than physical satisfaction and blazing through the branches of the tree is the sun - the cosmic heart of spirt.

My interpretation:
The Lovers seem to be promising new loves or new relationships or asking questions about your current partner. Have you, or will you, meet Mr/Mrs Right? Or maybe you should be looking to avoid another Mr/Mrs Wrong? Beware of purely physical desires - not necessarily the basis for a life time partnership!

From the book - Prophecy:
There is a choce or attraction that must be looked at clearly to avoid making a wrong decision. A struggle between outward, purely physical desires and temptations and inner spiritual needs. A difficult decision must be made for long-term good.
