In the motherpeace deck, there is no interpretation of this card being about making choices. The main focus is on union and harmony. This card represents the urge to merge in loving harmonius union.

There are two greek vases depicted in the foreground of this card. One portrays a popular myth, the hero slaying the Amazon queen representing the darker side of romanticism's early connection between sex and violence which the authors refer to as an ugly reminder of the violent roots of our culture. The other vase shows a man momentarily adoring a woman but this is supposed to be a reminder that in early patriarchal society woman were not considered on an equal footing with men but only had the power to be adored. The authors suggest that these thoughtforms must be moved beyond to find true spiritual union.
