Wonderland Tarot - Judgment

The White Rabbit is huge, filling more than half the card. He wears a tunic with hearts, like cards have, and he holds a scroll. The Knave stands to one side of the table, facing off to the barrister with the tarts on the table between them.

LWB: The White Rabbit blows a trumpet, signifying the beginning of the trial of the Knave of Hearts, who stole some tarts from the Queen. Before the verdict can be given, the whole court is transformed into playing cards that swirl around Alice, who wakes from her dream of wonderland.

LWB cont'd: Confessing all sins. Accounting for deeds and thoughts. New life, bettering oneself. Reward.

I see the knave as unapologetic. He knows what he did, and he did it on purpose. Others see it as wrong, and maybe it is, but he weighed all the factors first. He may have miscalculated.

This one almost suggests an improper court, one that holds no power, no moral high ground. Or that courts hold only the power that we give them, by action or belief.
