Ancestral Path - Judgement
By Julie Cuccia-Watts; book by Tracey Hoover
Publisher: US Games Systems, Inc.
"Description: In a dream state, a woman rises from her bed through a mystical dimension of color, light and sound toward a transparent window. Layers of the scene of her sleeping body appear above the bed, indicating the levels through which her dream body has risen. She extends her hand through the window, which reflects her like a mirror. A guardian or spirit guide offers a helping hand on the other side of the window. She has arrived at the point of entering the last dimension and can choose to go back or continue onward." *
"Meanings: Self-judgment (judgment of the self is always by the self); forgiveness of the self comes also from the self. The moment to account for how we have used our opportunities. The attraction of the soul to the Creator, or self to Higher Self. Alternatively, outer rather than inner judgment; failing challenges; shrinking away from self-knowledge and self-assessment; inability to love or forgive oneself or others."
* This is a bit too scary for me. Reminds me too much of one of my favorite movies, John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness, in which mirrors are windows both to and from. There is one scene where a woman possessed by the "Prince" reaches her hand through a mirror and is met on the other side by the hand of the Father of Darkness. Why does it seem that such portals involve us going up and away toward good ("Go into the Light!"), or us letting in (or keeping out) things that are bad ("Father, come to freedom!")? Or have I just been watching too many creepy movies? Examples of the first would include Cocoon and Poltergeist; examples of the second would include Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Sentinel, 28 Days Later, etc.
