Cosmic Tribe Tarot - Four of Wands
by Stevee Postman, text by Eric Ganther
Destiny Books / Inner Traditions
ISBN 0892817003

Description:
Four trunks reach up from the ground, covered in vines and sprouting new growth. Human hands atop the trunks pluck ripe fruit from lush branches overhead. A bee and butterfly flit between them, while a turtle makes his way toward them. A dove is barely visible among the leaves. A twilight sky fills the background, shadows cast upon it like a movie backdrop.

From the Book: Rewards
“In what areas are you reaping the rewards of your labors? What have you learned that you can apply to the next cycle? … Are you ready for something new or are there still loose ends to be resolved? … Either way, give thanks.”

My take on it:
We’ve put in a hard day’s work, now comes the time to relax and enjoy the fruits of our labors. There’s more than enough to go around, a bounty to celebrate. Turtle, unable to reach the fruit himself, reminds us to share our good fortune with others. But this is a pause rather than an end – new growth has already sprouted and insect helpers have begun the process for the next harvest.
