The image
shows our Fool standing center stage. He is standing on one of
several poles that make up a cliff. He appears then to have
reached the end of his journey. There seems no place to go as
there is only blackness and twinkling stars awaiting him. On
another pillar is a pink hairless looking dog looking at the fool.
The Fool is standing on one foot, waiting a moment before he
pirouettes off the edge. He holds his stick across his shoulders
to which his small knapsack is attached .I doubt though that it
contains a lot maybe a deck of tarot cards at most.
The Fool is a
minimalist, he carries nothing with him but a smile. He wears
smart but functional clothes. There is a bit of a showman in him.
The ballet is not required for the leap but he does it because he
wants to. It is this faith that will carry him forward. The Fool
is a follower and maker of his own path, but he does not know or
think about the path he follows. He just lives each moment and his
path is made out of those moments.
This Fool
though seems less dramatic than others. I canšt really imagine the
group of pillars on which he stands as a cliff. I see him more as
walking over its peak and down the other side making it for me
more of a mountain. The dog does not seem to be there to offer a
warning more to offer witness.
