Ancestral Path - Five of Staves
By Julie Cuccia-Watts; book by Tracey Hoover
Publisher: US Games Systems, Inc.

Book says: "In northern Egypt (actually its southern tip, which encompassed parts of Nubia during the dynasty of Ramses II), a group of priestly architects and engineers design blueprints for a canal needed to bring water to this parched area. Each holds an item emblematic of the Stave suit: staff, stylus, T-square, and brush. The temple in the background has recently been completed, carved from the outcropping rock. The road to its entrance is flanked by statues of ewes and rams (Arian, solar symbols, as is the sphinx carved from the rock.)"

I'm sure I must have read this before, but for some reason I had the impression that the five Staves were the staff and four palm trees. I guess the fifth Stave is the rod on which the blueprint is rolled.

I like that this card implies working together, bouncing ideas off each other, merging talents, each with their "iron in the fire". Sort of like Iron Maiden in the '80s: two electric guitars & bass guitar (shades of WoC 3W), vocals and drums. Each with their own talents and contributions creating something powerful and even theatrical, building and releasing youthful creative and aggressive energies.

So basically, I see this card as constructive, cooperative, energetic effort that leads to something grand.
