Robin Wood Tarot - Ace of Wands
Robin Wood
Deck: Llewellyn
Book: Livingtree Press

This card shows a blazing wand, surrounded by pure energy crackling around it. The light emanating from it goes forth in all directions. The wand is suspended in mid air, with two large sunflowers below it. At either end is a crystal. The top one appearing to be quartz, and the bottom crystal a blue colour. Each stone is wrapped and affixed to the end of the wand, but only the top stone, the quartz is decorated with a crescent moon. The body of the wand itself is a pillar of DNA. A strand of DNA looks as if captured inside a hollow wand.

Comments from the Book:
The keywords for this card are "Creation & Power; New Life".
"This card means creation, creative energy, beginning of growth or life, increase, inheritance, birth, adventure, virility, fertility, evolution, unfolding possibilities.”

Personal Comments:
The reader is not left to wonder if this card has anything to do with new life or vitality. Energy or beginnings.

The potential that lies within this card is incredible. This wand is the beginning, or the possibility, of new life. This is shown by the DNA. The basic building blocks of our lives. Oh yeah.... and the card looks like a penis and testicles. Not exactly deep, but it's there!
