The image is very simple and beautiful - a staff emerges from green twining leaves. The leaves are being peel back from the staff by two orange haired, winged fairies. The top of the staff is adorned by a lovely, blue-green butterfly. A pale green aura surrounds the butterfly. The sky become a darker blue as is moves away from the butterfly. The border of the card is green and decorated with yellow flowers and twigs bearing caterpillars.
The Book says: The process of transformation is extremely powerful in our lives as we search for a broad understanding of the future and a gentle surrender to the past. As we emerge from old wounds, we take on new colors and wear new wings of hope - much like the butterfly miraculously unspiraling from the dark cocoon. This butterfly is released into the light and is offered new conscious awareness.
Bee's Buzz: The card speaks to me of spiritual awakenings and magical new beginnings. The fairies are the divine spark present in each of us and the butterfly represents our soul. The fairies are helping peel back the barriers that prevented the soul from spreading its wings and soaring to the sky. They are releasing our inspiration and helping us to transform into fiery, creative and spiritual beings. This is a new opportunity to connect with out divine spark which is at the core our of being; the source of our passions, our art, our spirit.
