The Mission of ComparativeTarot.com
by Mark McElroy
ComparativeTarot.com serves as a library of essays and articles
inspired by the Tarot in all its incarnations. Ultimately, the
library:
-
stores and shares
these essays with other members of the Tarot community around the
world
-
facilitates
comparative study by organizing information on, images from, and
responses to numerous decks available
-
documents in a more
permanent and easily accessible place the discussions and debates
over these cards which occurred initially on the Comparative Tarot
mailing list
-
feeds the addiction of
Tarot deck collectors everywhere by showcasing the best features
of the decks we've all been thinking about buying!
ComparativeTarot.com
presents these essays as written by their authors, who retain
ownership of and responsibility for their content. Some of these
contributors possess years of Tarot experience. Others are
enthusiastic beginners, just starting their Tarot journey. In either
case, ComparativeTarot.com provides a communal space supporting
personal exploration of all the diversity the Tarot universe has to
offer.
Feel free to browse. At
some point, though, we encourage you to join our journey and submit
essays, opinions, and insights of your own.
